Small screen actress Tasnuva Tisha narrowly escaped a road accident while returning to Dhaka after completing the shooting of a drama in Srimangal.

The actress shared details of the incident during a Facebook Live broadcast at around 12:40am on Saturday.

According to Tisha, the car carrying her was hit by a pickup van near the Bhairab Toll Plaza shortly after crossing the Bhairab Bridge.

“We were returning to Dhaka after finishing the shooting in Srimangal. After crossing the Bhairab Bridge, a pickup hit our car near the toll plaza and drove away,” she said during the live broadcast.

Tisha said the pickup van was later stopped after being chased by a motorcycle.

Although the car was damaged in the accident, no one was injured. Describing the incident as a frightening experience, the actress said, “It was a very bad accident. We narrowly escaped.”

According to the Highway Police, officers went to the scene after receiving information about the accident. However, they were initially unable to seize the pickup van.

Later, police contacted a representative of the vehicle’s owner, who is associated with a local bakery. Following discussions between the two parties, an agreement was reached and the matter was settled through a written compromise.

Tasnuva Tisha was reportedly given Tk30,000 as compensation for the damage to her car. Although there was no major damage, the front portion of the vehicle was affected in the collision.

Following the accident, Tisha and the other passengers remained at the scene for about an hour. With the assistance of local people, the matter was eventually resolved between the two parties through a settlement.
