Samsung has reportedly raised the prices of its Galaxy A27 5G, Galaxy M47 5G and Galaxy F70 Pro 5G smartphones in India by Rs 2,000 across all variants amid an ongoing RAM and storage shortage.
According to Gizmochina reports, the revised prices took effect on October 11, making the three handsets more expensive for buyers.
The Galaxy A27 5G now starts at Rs 35,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, up from Rs 33,999. Its 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants are priced at Rs 42,999 and Rs 47,499, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy M47 5G and Galaxy F70 Pro 5G now start at Rs 37,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB models cost Rs 41,999 and Rs 46,999, respectively.
The latest increase follows earlier price revisions affecting Samsung smartphones in India. However, the company has not officially confirmed that the RAM shortage prompted the latest hikes, while some online retailers may still list the phones at older prices.
