Prof Yunus receives honorary doctorate from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), the national university of Malaysia, has conferred an honorary doctorate degree on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus in recognition of his exceptional contribution to social entrepreneurship.
The ceremony took place at the UKM auditorium in Kuala Lumpur, where the university’s chancellor formally presented the honorary degree to Prof Yunus. Upon his arrival, the chancellor personally welcomed him to the venue.
Following the conferment, Prof Yunus delivered a commemorative lecture to the university’s students, sharing insights from his work in social innovation and entrepreneurship.
The event was attended by a distinguished audience including prominent Malaysian academics, policymakers, university faculty members, students, and members of Prof Yunus’s entourage.
