3 arrested with anti-government leaflets

Police arrested three people with a large quantity of anti-government propaganda leaflets at Motijheel’s Arambagh in Dhaka.
The arrested are Nazrul Islam, 42, Jahangir Biswas, 32, and Shipon, 20.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the DMP Media and Public Relations Department Muhammad Talebur Rahman gave this information on Thursday (February 6).
He said that on Thursday afternoon, on a tip-off, a team from Motijheel Police Station raided a shop called ‘Udayan Printers’ on the ground floor of 141/A building at Arambagh.
Talebur Rahman also said that a case under the Special Powers Act is being processed at Motijheel Police Station against the arrested.
