BNP begins interviews for reserved women’s seats

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) began interviews on Friday for candidates seeking reserved women’s seats in 13th National Parliament.
The interview process started at 3:15 PM at BNP chairman’s office in Gulshan, under the supervision of the party’s nomination board chaired by BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman.
Before the interviews commenced, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said the party’s standing committee and nomination board would carefully evaluate all candidates to ensure a fair selection process.
Party sources said the interviews will continue for two days.
On Friday, candidates from the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Barishal, Faridpur and Khulna divisions appeared before the board.
Aspirants from Chattogram, Sylhet, Cumilla, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions are scheduled to be interviewed on Saturday at 3 PM.
