Two teenagers killed in Sylhet road crash

Two teenage boys were killed and two others injured after their motorcycle collided with another motorcycle on the Zakiganj-Sylhet road in Kaliganj Ballah area under Zakiganj upazila of Sylhet district on Tuesday night.
The deceased were Jahangir Hossain, 16, son of Abdus Sattar, resident of East Khorosti village in Darpnagar east union of Kanaighat upazila, and Marjan Ahmad, 17, son of Ebadur Rahman of Manikpur village of the same union.
Zakiganj Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Sukant Chowdhury said the accident occurred when three teenagers were going to Kanaighat riding a motorcycle from Zakiganj.
On the way, their bike collided head-on with another motorcycle around 10:30 pm on Tuesday night, leaving four riders of both motorbikes seriously injured.
They were taken to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital, where on-duty doctor declared two of them dead, the official said.
