Child’s body found in Sylhet fish enclousure

Sylhet Office : Police on Friday recovered the body of a minor boy from a fish enclosure in Jaintiapur Upazila in the district.

The identity of the child, aged about one and a half years, could not be known yet.

Officer-in-charge of Jaintiapur Police Station Khan Mohammad Moinul said locals spotted the body of the toddler floating on the water of the fish enclosure at Pakhiteki around 10:30 pm and informed police.

The body has been sent to M.A.G. Osmani Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
