Renowned singer Khurshid Alam got injured in a road accident at Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Bogra town on Saturday.
The singer got hurt when a truck hit his private car.
He is currently undergoing treatment at Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital,.
The crash took place around 3:00 am at Charmatha on the highway when a truck hit his car.
Khurshid, also an Ekushey Padak winner, went to Bogura on Friday to join an award-giving ceremony of Joypurhat Kalyan Trust.
The incident occurred when he was returning to his hotel.
However, the truck driver managed to flee.
