Press conference on PM’s UNGA participation Monday

A press conference on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) will be held on Monday (September 28), according to the Foreign Ministry.
The press conference will begin at 3PM at Conference Room 701 of the Foreign Ministry’s new building, the ministry’s Public Relations Officer Mahmudul Hasan said on Sunday (September 27).
The ministry has invited journalists to attend the briefing and cover the event.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman returned to Dhaka on Sunday after completing a four-day visit to New York to attend the UNGA. During the visit, he held 11 bilateral meetings with leaders from different countries and took part in 30 official engagements, according to Prime Minister’s Adviser and PMO spokesperson Mahdi Amin.
The prime minister also addressed UNGA-related events and held meetings with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, World Bank President Ajay Banga and other senior international officials during the visit.
