Oli Ahmed’s presidential nomination declared valid

The Election Commission (EC) has declared the nomination papers of Colonel Oli Ahmed, the 11-party alliance backed presidential candidate, valid.
Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin scrutinised his nomination papers on Sunday (August 16) at the Election Commission building in his capacity as the ‘election officer.’
Meanwhile, the nomination papers of BNP and its like-minded parties’ candidate Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be scrutinised at noon.
