Convener of National Citizen Party (NCP) Nahid Islam has accused the July Memorial Museum of giving more importance to the BNP’s political saga.
During his visit to the museum at Ganabhaban on Saturday, Nahid alleged that the museum must maintain national history rather than the history of any political party.
According to him, the sections regarding killing on borders and anti-Modi movement have been scrapped, whereas the political struggle of BNP has been highlighted.
The convener suggested that the museum must maintain a chronology of the July uprising in which contribution of different districts and universities is included.
Nahid demanded that the museum must be autonomous and run by those who understand the July uprising properly.
