United Arab Emirates (UAE) wants to raise awareness among Bangladeshi expatriates and to enhance the image of Bangladesh abroad
At a event, the UAE authorities presented three informative documentaries focusing on cybercrime, social media usage and traffic laws, followed by specific guidelines for the expatriate community.
A significant community dialogue, organized by the Fujairah Bangladesh Association, in cooperation with the Embassy of Bangladesh, the Consulate General and the local UAE administration, was held in Fujairah on Friday (October 17).
The event was presided over by Association President Kafil Uddin Belal and conducted by General Secretary Engineer Masud Parvez, with joint moderation by Helal Nur and Hamad Muhammad Islam.

Be cautious and responsible while using social media, and strictly follow all traffic and local regulations.”
Chief guest Tarek Ahmed, Ambassador of Bangladesh to the UAE, praised the UAE government, stating, “The UAE is a country governed 100% by law, where crimes are identified using AI technology. That means everything we do is being recorded. So, no matter where we are, we must abide by the laws.”
Special guest Consul General Muhammad Rasheduzzaman added, “We must solve our problems through good work and responsible actions. Awareness and positive behavior are key.”
Other notable speakers included Lt. Hamad Mohammed bin Naya Al Tunaiji, Senior Officer of the Cyber Crime Division of Fujairah CID; Dr. Yasser Rashid Al Hefeiti, First Assistant of the Traffic and Licensing Department; Major Fatima Hamad Al Yamahi, Major Maryam Ali Al Jahmi, and Ahmed Naser Al Kindi from Fujairah Community Police.
