Israel has intercepted the last remaining ship of Gaza-bound humanitarian Global Sumud Flotilla, according to a report by Al Jazeera.
The Polish-flagged vessel The Marinette, carrying six passengers, was forcibly boarded by Israeli commandos near the Palestinian coast on Friday morning.
Live-streamed footage showed Israeli forces storming the ship as it neared the blockaded Gaza Strip.
The Marinette was the final active vessel in the aid convoy after Israeli forces previously detained 43 other boats of the flotilla.
Most of the activists and aid workers on board the flotilla have been detained by Israeli authorities. Among them is prominent Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg.
The flotilla, which aimed to deliver essential humanitarian aid to Gaza, has faced widespread interception, drawing international criticism.
Several countries have condemned Israel’s actions, labelling them as “acts of terrorism.”
