Four ministers, two state ministers take oath as cabinet expands

Four ministers and two state ministers were sworn in on Friday as the cabinet was expanded with six new members.
President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir administered the oath of office to them at Bangabhaban.
The new ministers are BNP Standing Committee Member Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) Chairman Andaleeve Rahman Partho, Bandarban BNP MP Sa Ching Pru Jerry and Rashiduzzaman Millat, who previously served as a state minister.
Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Humaiun Kobir and Gaibandha-4 MP Shamim Kaisar Lincoln were sworn in as state ministers.
With the latest appointments, the cabinet has been expanded to include six additional members, including one former state minister elevated to the rank of minister.
