Bangladeshi pilgrims have continued returning home from Saudi Arabia as repatriation flights entered their second day on Sunday.
According to officials, more than 5,000 pilgrims are expected to arrive in the country on 14 flights throughout the day.
Upon landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, many pilgrims expressed satisfaction with this year’s Hajj management and overall arrangements.
They said they had not experienced any major difficulties during the pilgrimage and praised the services provided for Bangladeshi pilgrims in both Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh.
The returning pilgrims noted that accommodation, food and other logistical arrangements were well organised, contributing to a smooth Hajj experience.
Female pilgrims, in particular, said they were able to perform the Hajj comfortably this year, citing improved facilities and management.
The return of pilgrims is expected to continue in the coming days as thousands of Bangladeshis who performed Hajj make their way back home following the completion of the annual pilgrimage.
