PM pays courtesy call on President

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman paid a courtesy call on President Mohammad Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban on Thursday evening, marking Independence and National Day.
The meeting took place at 6 PM and was attended by Prime Minister’s daughter, Barrister Zaima Rahman.
Earlier, both the President and the Prime Minister issued separate messages commemorating the day.
They also paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War by laying wreaths at National Memorial on the outskirts of Dhaka.
