Hadi’s CT scan done, kidney function recovered: Physician

A repeat CT scan of Inqilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi’s brain has been conducted.
In the report, there found severe damage of his brain.
Dr. Abdul Ahad, a member of the surgical team of the neurosurgery department of Dhaka Medical College, informed this to media at a press conference on Sunday noon.
He said, “Hadi’s physical condition is critical. He underwent another CT scan this morning which showed there was severe brain damage. Thekidneyfunction was also not working, although later recovered. The bullet pierced the temporal barrier of the brain.”
“Hadi was shot by an expert hand from a close range. The bullet pierced the most important blood vessels. Though most of the bullets were removed, some parts of the sprinter remained in the brain even after the operation. There was a lack of oxygen in the brain and there is a blood clot there. The lungs are unchanged on life support.”
Currently he is under close observation at Evercare Hospital in the capital. His family is trying to take him abroad, Dr. Abdul Ahad added.
