Collision between Biman aircraft and boarding bridge at Sylhet airport; London-bound flight delayed

A London-bound Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight (BG-201) was delayed after its engine was hit accidentally by a boarding bridge at Sylhet Osmani International Airport today (29 October) morning.
The incident occurred around 10:30am, said Osmani International Airport Director Hafiz Ahmad adding that authorities have called for a safety inspection. As a result, flight BG-201 was canceled, and another aircraft from Dhaka is being arranged to carry the passengers to London around 2:30pm.
He added that the extent of the damage to the aircraft has not yet been determined.
Meanwhile, the 262 passengers scheduled to travel to London have been stranded at the airport since morning, facing significant inconvenience due to the delay.
