NCP dismisses rumours of Nasiruddin Patwary’s resignation

Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) has denied rumours circulating on social media that its Chief Coordinator, Nasiruddin Patwary, has resigned from his position.

Reports claimed that he had submitted a resignation letter seeking relief from his party responsibilities, but NCP has termed the information “incorrect.”

In a statement issued around 2 AM on Thursday, signed by NCP Joint Member Secretary (Office) Saleh Uddin Sifat, the party clarified that Nasiruddin Patwary remains active in his role.

“Nasiruddin Patwary is still with us. He was recently engaged in tasks related to the party’s registration with the Election Commission and continues to oversee various wings of the party as Chief Coordinator. The claims regarding his resignation or withdrawal from the party are completely untrue,” the statement read.
