Banned AL leader Ajay Kar Khokon arrested in Dhaka

Ajay Kar Khokon, a banned Awami League leader and former general secretary of banned Chhatra League, has been arrested by Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
The arrest was confirmed on Wednesday (September 24) by DMP’s Deputy Commissioner (Media) Muhammad Talebur Rahman.
He said that Khokon was arrested from Gulshan area of the capital. “Further legal procedures are underway,” the official added.
