176 Bangladeshis return home from Libya

A total of 176 Bangladeshi nationals have returned home from Libya, after being released from Tajoura Detention Center in Tripoli. They arrived in Bangladesh on Thursday (September 18).
According to the Embassy of Bangladesh in Tripoli, the mission has been working closely with local authorities and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to ensure the safe repatriation of Bangladeshi citizens held in various detention centers across Libya.
As part of this ongoing effort, the 176 individuals were repatriated with support from the IOM.
They were flown back to Bangladesh via Libya’s Buraq Air, arranged under IOM assistance.
