1,604 road blockade incidents in 13-month in and around Dhaka

Home Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said that 123 organisations have blocked 1,604 roads in and around Dhaka since the interim government took charge.

He made this remark while talking reporters on Sunday after a meeting at the Secretariat.

”We requested everyone not to hold protest blocking roads, it creates immense sufferings for commuters. A major reason for traffic congestion is… if a corner of a road gets blocked, the entire city of Dhaka gets affected.”
