SAFF U-17 Women's Championship: Bangladesh concede 1-1 draw against Bhutan

Bangladesh womenfaced aheartbreaking 1-1 draw against the host, Bhutan inthe SAFF U-17 Women’s Championship at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphuon Friday.
Earlier in the tournament, they got astrong 3-1 win over the same opponent.
Purnima gave Bangladesh an early lead in the 6th minute but Bhutan equalized during added time of the first half. Later, both teams attacked in the second half but failed to make impact.
After five matches, Bangladesh sits second with 10 points while India leads with 12 points from four matches. Nepal has 3 points and Bhutan earned their first point on Friday.
The tournament features four teams competing in a double round-robin, with the highest point total deciding the champion.
