Milestone tragedy: After sister, brother too looses to fight for life

Aryan Nasraf Nafi, 9, a class I student of Milestone School and College in Dhaka’s Uttara, succumbed to his injuries early Wednesday after battling for life for two days.
He breathed his last at about 12:15AM at the ICU of National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute.
According to the hospital resident surgeon Dr Shawon Bin Rahman, ”Nafi, whose 95 per cent body parts were burnt in fire following the Air Force training plane crash in Uttara, died at the ICU while undergoing treatment. Earlier at 3AM on Tuesday, his elder sister Nazia, 13, a student of class III, succumbed to her injuries. A total of 11 students have, so far, died here out of 32.”
Nazia was admitted to the ICU with 90 per cent of burns.
Their parents, residents of Uttara Kamarpara area, are now speechless and broke down in tears loosing two children at a time.
