War 2 posters unveiled as countdown begins for 2025’s most anticipated action blockbuster

The excitement around War 2 is heating up, with fresh character posters of the high-octane sequel unveiled on Thursday, May 26, featuring Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr NTR.

Hrithik Roshan returns as Major Kabir, this time with a darker and more intense persona. His poster shows him battle-worn, clutching a weapon with a steely gaze. The caption read:
“This time he is ruthless, merciless, relentless and ready for WAR! Are you? The countdown begins now. 50 Days to War 2.”
Kiara Advani, joining the franchise, makes a fierce first impression. Dressed in tactical black and armed with a gun, her poster hints at a powerful new addition to the spy universe.
“She is lithe, lethal and locked on target. This is WAR!” the caption declared.
Jr NTR brings his signature intensity to the mix, shown mid-action with guns in both hands.
“He is resolute and fearless. And he will never stop hunting. WAR is coming!” his poster teased.
Directed by Brahmastra filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, War 2 continues the YRF Spy Universe saga, following the massive success of War (2019), which was helmed by Siddharth Anand.
Speaking about taking on the sequel, Mukerji said, “It’s a huge responsibility to take forward a hugely loved franchise like War and leave your own mark on it. I saw directing War 2 as a relishing opportunity to give a hat-tip to the first film.”Online movie streaming services
