Fake examinee held in Habiganj

A man has been arrested and sentenced to prison for impersonating a candidate in a recruitment examination at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Habiganj district on Friday morning.
The arrested is identified as Pranab Chandra Deb, a resident of Baniachong upazila in the district.
According to police, Pranab was caught red-handed at the BIAM Laboratory School centre on Friday morning. He was giving a proxy of the exam for the post of Office Assistant cum Computer Typist in place of the designated candidate.
A mobile court sentenced him to one month in prison and fined Tk 200.
