Chief Adviser not resigning, says Planning Adviser

Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus is not resigning, Planning Adviser Prof Wahiduddin Mahmud commented after a closed-door meeting with council of advisers on Saturday.

“We are here to carry out the responsibilities entrusted with us and can’t go leaving those.”

The closed-door meeting of the council of advisers began at 12:20PM at the National Economic Council (NEC) conference room at Sher-e-Banglah Nagar in the capital.

Prof Wahiduddin said, “The chief adviser has not said he will resign and all other advisers will also continue.”
