Bangladesh to bat 1st in 1st Test at Sylhet

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto decided to bat first against Zimbabwe winning the toss in the two-match series opening Test in Sylhet on Sunday.

For both of these sides, Test cricket has been a roller coaster. This is Bangladesh’s first time wearing whites since their most recent match against the West Indies in November 2024.
