Malaysia showcases tourism, Healthcare at Dhaka Travel Mart 2025

Tourism Malaysia, in collaboration with KPJ Malaysia, is set to make a significant impact at the Dhaka Travel Mart 2025, a prominent travel exhibition.

High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh, Mohd Shuhada Othman, formally inaugurated the three day exhibition on Thursday at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, the envoy highlighted Malaysia’s diverse attractions, favorable exchange rates, and its reputation as a leading destination for medical and education tourism.

He emphasized the opportunities for collaboration between the two nations, particularly in tourism, trade, and investment.

Editor of Monitor, Md. Wahidul Alam presided over the inaugural session while General Manager of US Bangla Airlines, Qamrul Islam, DMD of Mutual Trust Bank, Shafqat Hossain, COO of Firsttrip, Hasnain Rafique GM of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Mohammad Shamsul Karim also spoke on the occasion.

The event promises to be a unique opportunity to promote Malaysia’s vibrant tourism industry and exceptional healthcare services to the Bangladeshi market.

Visitors to the Malaysia booth will have the chance to explore Malaysia’s breathtaking tourist destinations, including its pristine beaches, diverse culture, and rich heritage.

In addition to tourism, KPJ Malaysia—a leading name in healthcare—will highlight Malaysia’s world-class medical services. KPJ Malaysia is known for its advanced medical facilities and expert healthcare providers, offering a wide range of treatments from routine check-ups to specialized procedures.

KPJ Malaysia has 30 hospitals across Malaysia and specialist Doctors in Heart, Cancer, Digestive, ENT, Fertility, Arthopedic, Women and Children center among others.
