New US Chargé d’ Affaires meets foreign adviser Touhid Hossain

New Chargé d’ affaires of the US Embassy in Dhaka, Ambassador Tracey Ann Jacobson, met with Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain and Foreign Secretary Md Jashim Uddin, respectively, on Monday.

During the meetings, they discussed shared interests and priorities between the United States and Bangladesh, according to a spokesperson from the US Embassy.

Ambassador Jacobson underscored the strong partnership between our two countries and reaffirmed support for the interim government’s efforts to chart a prosperous and democratic path for the Bangladeshi people.
