Nazrul Islam Swapan made chairman of EXIM Bank

Md Nazrul Islam Swapan, the prominent businessman and industrialist, was unanimously elected as the chairman of the Board of Directors at the 174th Emergent Board Meeting of the bank held on Friday (August 30).
Before this, he served as a member of the board of directors of the same bank with honesty and integrity.
He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social science from Chattogram University. He has a long experience of 44 years in readymade garments sector.
Currently, he is the chairman and managing director of Tivoli Apparels Limited and Galaxy Stitch Limited. He has been a CIP holder since 2000.
He also has extensive expertise in Real Estate and Aviation Sectors.
