Schoolgirl’s hanging body recovered in Moulvibazar

The hanging body of a schoolgirl was recovered by police at Kulaura upazila in Moulvibazar district on Saturday morning.
The dead was Ruma Munda, 16, daughter of Kalichandra Munda, a resident of Jalai village under Jaichandi union.
Police said family members spotted the girl hanging in her room in the morning.
Later, she was rescued and rushed to hospital where he was declared dead by the on-duty doctor.
Kulaura Police Station officer-in-charge Abdus Salek said being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
