Housewife commits suicide in Habiganj

Habiganj Correspondent : A housewife reportedly committed suicide at Madhabpur upazila in Habiganj District on Tuesday night.

Deceased was Rina Akter, 45, wife of expatriate Abdur Rashid, a resident of Nayanpur village under Chowmuhini union.

Police said the woman committed suicide by hanging herself in her house at around 10:30 pm due to a family dispute with her husband.

Later, being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Habiganj Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

Madhabpur Police Station officer-in-charge Abdur Razzak confirmed the matter.
