Lightning strike kills 3 farmers in Sunamganj

Sunamganj Correspondent : Three farmers were killed and four others injured by lightning strike in Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj on Thursday noon.

The identities of the deceased and injured could not be know yet.

Quoting locals, Abdul Latif Tarafder, officer-in-charge (OC) of Tahirpur Police Station, said a thunderbolt struck on them while they were picking nuts in a field at Sundar Pahari village, leaving three dead on the spot.
