Monowara Sikder elected new chairman of National Bank
Monowara Sikder has been elected as the new chairman of National Bank Limited for the next three years.
The post fell vacant after Zainul Haque Sikder, a valiant freedom fighter and one of the pioneer industrialists of Bangladesh, had passed away on February 10 while taking treatment in Dubai.
Monowara Sikder, the wife of Zainul Haque Sikder, was unanimously elected the Chairperson of the National Bank Limited for three years at the 443rd board meeting on Wednesday.
Monowara Sikder thanked all and urged them to work together to fulfill the dream of the late Chairman Zainul Haque Sikder.
