Covid-19 claims life of Sunamganj sub-registrar Zafar Ahmed

Sunamganj Correspondent : Md Zafar Ahmed, sub-registrar of Daskhin Sunamganj, died from coronavirus infections at a hospital in the capital on Thursday morning.

The register breathed his last at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 5:30am while undergoing treatment.
Md Rezaul Karim, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry, confirmed this information to media.

Zafar, hailed from Pirojpur’s Dasmina, left behind his wife, two daughters and host of admirers to mourn his death.

Law Minister Anisul Huq has expressed deep shock at the death of Zafar Ahmed and prayed for salvation and eternal peace of his departed soul.

He also expressed sympathies for his bereaved family members.

Law Secretary Md Golam Sarwar and Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Shahidul Alam Jhinuk also expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Zafar.
