After being tested for coronavirus at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College’s PCR laboratory, he was reported as a positive case, Nadel confirmed.

“Since the Covid-19 outbreak, I’ve been involved with many charitable works, relief distribution in different areas and visited several hospitals. Maybe, I’ve caught the virus from somewhere”, he said.

“I had fever four days ago and I consulted with the doctors of ‘Corona Support Sylhet’ which was initiated by me. They prescribed common medications for suspected case,” Nadel, who is also the director of BCB’s women’s wing, informed.

“As I need to meet many people for various purposes, I decided to test my sample. I contacted Sylhet’s Civil Surgeon and gave my sample on Wednesday. After testing on Thursday night, Civil Surgeon informed me that I was tested positive for Covid-19”, he said.

He is the third person from the cricket fraternity to sustain the virus.
