Sunamganj Correspondent : Awami League joint general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif Tuesday said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her government have taken strong stance against wrongdoers.
“They (wrongdoers) have no party. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her government have taken a strong stance against them…they must be brought to justice,” he told reporters before joining a meeting of Sunamganj Zila Awami League.
Hanif said gambling instruments were seized recently from different clubs in Dhaka, which is not a political matter at all. “Removing all irregularities and corruption from the society are our main aim,” he added.
The AL leader warned that the government has already brought the wrongdoers, who were involved in casino business in Dhaka, to justice. If someone is found involved in such wrongdoings outside Dhaka, action will be
taken against he or she, he said.

Later, Hanif attended the meeting of Sunamganj Zila Awami League, chaired by Sunamganj Zila AL president Motiur Rahman and moderated by its general secretary Barrister Enamul Kabir Emon.
