Human trafficker held in Sylhet

Sylhet Office : Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Sunday evening arrested a young woman in a case filed for human trafficking in Bishwanath upazila of Sylhet.

The arrested is Pinki Onnonya Priya, 28, a resident of Katalipara area in the upazila.

RAB-9 Additional Superintendent of Police Md Moniruzzaman confirmed the matter, adding that Priya was handed over to Criminal Investigation Department (CID) after the arrest.

Priya is accused in case lodged with Baniachong Police Station on September 19 over human trafficking. CID is now investigating the case.
