Sylhet Office : A Viqarunnisa Noon School and College student succumbed to dengue after staying in life support for 6 days at Millennium Hospital in the capital on Wednesday morning
The deceased was identified as Oshmita, an eighth-grader of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College, daughter of engineer Amanat Mawla Tipu, hailing from Kamalpur Village of Alankari union under Biswanath upazila in Sylhet. Her mother is renowned poet Hena Nurjahan.
Oshmita breathed her death at 7:00am today while undergoing treatment at (intensive care unit) ICU of the hospital.She was first admitted to Labaid hospital in the capital’s Dhanmondi but later shifted to Millennium Hospital six days before as her condition deteriorated.
