SUST Students Protest Against Rape

SUST Correspondent : Students of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) have organized human chain and procession against the rape of women and children across the country. Human chain was held in front of the central library building of the university on Sunday noon. University’s `Sommilito Sangskritik Jot’ (Combined Cultural Alliance) organized it.

There were participated hundreds of students and cultural activists. A demonstration procession came out from central library building to round the campus and held a rally in the same place after the human chain. Rakib Hossain, Convener of alliance, Sohanur Rahman, President of Tourism Club, Sumaiya Alam Chowdhury, General Secretary of Aj Mukto Moncho, Faisal Shuvo, General secretary of Theatre SUST Spoken among others. In the rally they demanded supreme punishment of rapist.
