2 killed Habiganj road crash

Habiganj Correspondent : Two persons were killed after a stone-laden truck ran over them in Madhabpur upazila of the district.
The accident happened at Dak Banglo area on Friday morning (May 10).
The deceased were identified as Ayub Ali, 35, son of Tayeb Ali of West Madhabpur of Madhabpur town and Jonayed Mia, 28, son of Aban Mia from Vaigdia village of Bijoynagar upazila
According to police, the stone-laden truck veered of the road after losing control and smashed into Ayub Ali’s store, crushing him and transport worker Jonayed Mia on the spot, and injuring two others.
The truck was seized. Bodies were sent to Habiganj District Sadar Hospital for post mortem report, said Liakot Hossen, officer-in-charge of Sayestaganj highway police station.
