Fire guts valuables of Keraniganj plastic factory
Keraniganj, Apr 25 : A fire gutted valuables of a plastic factory at Chunkutia Hijholtala in South Keraniganj here on Thursday.
Shah Jaman, officer-in-charge of Keraniganj Police Station, said the fire originated from electric short circuit at Prime Plastic Factory around 8 am and spread soon.
Nine firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the flame around 9 am.
The factory owner claimed that fire gutted valuables worth Tk 30-40 lakh.
