Faulty tyre forces Biman flight to make emergency landing

Dhaka, Mar 1 : A domestic flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here on Friday afternoon due to a fault in a front tyre.
Biman General Manager (Public Relations) Shakil Meraj said soon after it took off from MAG Osmani International Airport in Sylhet carrying 61 passengers, the pilot of the Dhaka-bound flight noticed that one of the front tyres is faulty.
Following the fault, the flight made the emergency landing at the Dhaka airport safely around 4:10 pm, he said.
Meraj also said all the passengers and the pilot along with his crewmembers disembarked from the aircraft unharmed.
