Uber, the world’s largest on-demand ride-sharing company that is yet to get valid permission to run operations in Dhaka, announced to launch bike-sharing service named uberMOTO.
UberMOTO is a motorcycle taxi-hailing service that allows people to move from one place to another place using a motorcycle, the company said in a press statement on Tuesday.
Riders will now be able to select and enjoy a plush ride every day. This service was first rolled out as a pilot received encouraging response from both riders and driver partners, the statement added.
Riders receive driver and bike details just as they do for other Uber rides, as well as all standard safety features before, during and after the ride including GPS tracking, two-way feedback and the ability to share trip details with family and friends.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza took first uberMOTO service in the capital.
