The Bomb Disposal Team reached the house surrounded by a man killed in a bomb blast in ‘Mymensingh’ Veluka. On Monday morning, the bomb detention team reached the search.
Mymensingh Additional Superintendent of Police Nure Alam confirmed the matter. The explosion took place in a semi-ridden house at around 5:30 pm on Sunday.
It is believed that the bomb exploded while making the bomb. A bloody frozen body of one person was found lying inside the house.
Although the identity of the deceased was not confirmed, the initial idea of the police was to see the explosion type, the house had a militant dormitory. Meanwhile, police arrested seven people in the incident.
The deceased were identified as Azim Uddin, 60, his wife Fatema, 50, son Hasan, 20, and Atikki, 16, and the wife and two children of the deceased.
Mymensingh Superintendent of Police Syed Nurul Islam said that the person killed in the bomb blast could be a militant member. No further details can be said before further investigation.
