One of the big air Cargo organisations in Europe JMG has opened Express Centre in Canning Town to extend its worthy service to the people. Sharifa Khan, Commercial Consular of Bangladesh High commission in London opened the centre on Sunday, 21st May.
A meeting was held on this occasion presided over by Chairman of the JMG Cargo Monir Ahmed and conducted by journalist Enam Chowdhury , Country Manager of Bangladesh Biman Md. Shafiqul Islam was the chief guest. It was addressed by Speaker of the Tower Hamlets Council Sabina Akhtar and Deputy Speaker Councillor Ayas Miah, ex Mayor Motinuzzaman, ex Mayor Abdul Aziz Sarder, ex president of British Bangladesh Shahgir Bokth, Abul Hayet Nuruzzaman, Hafiz Alam Boks, Chief Executive of ATN Bangla in the UK, Mustafa Sarwar Babu of NTV Europe,Cllr Ayesha Chowdhury of New Ham council, account Mahbub Murshed. Introductory speech was given by Shamsadur Rahman Rahin Director of Heathrow Branch of JMG Cargo.
Sharifa Khan Commercial Consular of Bangladesh High Commission said JMG Cargo is the pride for Bangladesh community in Britain. Businessmen of this community were involved in restaurant business in the past, but, now new entrepreneurs like Monir Ahmed have embarked on a new kind of business to generate money and that is important for all of us.
Country Manager of Bangladesh Biman Mohammed Shafiqul Isalm said relation between Biman and JMG is inseparable and we are working together all along. He further said their business will grow day by day.
Councillor Speaker Sabina Akhtar said JMG’s success was mentionable, we were proud that it had started its business venture from Tower Hamlets and rendered services to the community including opened door for jobs.
All speakers in the meeting expressed that JMG Cargo would develop its business in many folds to give more service to the community.
The Chief Executive of JMG Cargo Dilara Khatun Jeni and Manager, Mhamudul Hasan Dulal efficiently managed the programme.
It is noted that successful cargo and custom clearance businessman of Sylhet, young Monir Ahmed started his JMG Cargo from meagre, but his diligent efforts took him so high.
