Bangla TV is changing its channel number

10db1bbc-6ca0-4196-bed3-7dea275950b4Bangla TV organised a press conference to inform that it is now changing its sky channel number from 786 to 821.  The press conference was held on 4th of April in its office at Startford.  Assistant News Editor Sarwar Hossain conducted the press conference where Milton Rahman, the Head of News Department read out the written press release.  The CEO of Bangla TV, Monwar Moinul also addressed the journalists and present guests.

The press release read that Bangla TV has been broadcasting its programmes and shows to entertain the Bangladeshi audience in the UK and Europe for last 17 years.  This TV Channel is always grateful to its viewers for their patronage and continuous support.  As per the advice from Sky TV, Bangla TV is now changing its Sky channel number from 786 to 821.

Bangla TV has been making its best effort to fulfil the demands of Bangladeshi community in the UK and Europe.  It has been broadcasting drama, children’s programmes, religious events, live-talk shows, Bengali movies and many other programmes and events to entertain its viewers.

This year Bangla TV will also broadcast Southall Boishakhi Mela and Birmingham Boishakhi Mela to its viewers.

Bangla TV has also received the approval from Bangladesh Government to transmit as an Independent TV channel in Bangladesh. The works are going on to start the broadcasting. It is estimated that Bangla TV will possibly start its broadcasting from mid this year.  The TV Channel is hoping that using this opportunity, it can add a new dimension to its entertainment, news and shows.
