Poet Al Mahmud is a living legend of our time. He has composed a huge number of timeless poem and verses. Poetry is his passion. With his eternal composing, he has increased the honour of Bengali language. He is the pioneer of the modernism Bengali poetry. He is our pride and pride of Bengali language.
Writers and Researchers in London told this on the closing day of two days long birthday festival of Al Mahmud in London.
Chairman of Al Mahmud Foundation and Editor of Shomoy Sayed Chowdhury presided over the meeting where Editor of Dailnik Shanglap Foyjur Rahman addressed the audience as Chief Guest.
Editor of London-Bangla and President of Journalist Association K M Abu Taher Chowdhury was the Chief conductor of the event.

Al Mahmud Foundation was established to extend the scope and popularity of poet’s work. Al Mahnud Foudation orgnaised two day long poet’s birthday festival in London on 11th and 12th July.
