Sussex BNP has demanded release of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia and withdrawal of cases filed against Tarique Zia. They demanded this in a discussion meeting held n Brighton on Monday to observe 7th November Biplob and Shanghati Dibosh.
President of Sussex BNP Tofazzol Hossain presided over the meeting and Secretary Syed Shamim Ahmed conducted it. Guests who addressed the audience included Chief Advisor Hajo Rafiqe Miah, Senior Vice-president Abdul Mannan, Abdul Manik, Vice-president Abdul Ahad, Milik Chowdhury, Tahir Uddin Aziz, Bakhtiar Khan, Joint Secretary Ator Ali, M A Qais, Organising Secretary Abdul Wahid, Co General Secretary Mushfiqur Rahman Shupto and others. The speakers said that BNP will definitely win if there is a free and fair election in Bangladesh. They also demanded withdrawal of all political cases filed against leaders and activists of BNP.
Guests who were present at the event cut a cake to celebrate 54th birthday of Tarique Zia.
